Short description
VOID PROFIT is a single-player space trading game about keeping a rented corporate ship in service. Buy cargo, take contracts and decide what to declare when an inspector calls. Markets shift while rent keeps coming due. Your employer, Aetrocor, takes payment regardless of how the trip went.
Overview
Aetrocor has approved your application. You have a ship, a rental agreement and responsibility for every credit it costs to stay in space. VOID PROFIT puts you at the controls of a corporate vessel in a procedurally generated universe. Work out where cargo is worth buying and who will pay for it. Take delivery work when the terms make sense. Check the route before leaving port. A shorter trip can put you through an inspection you would rather avoid.
The cockpit is built around green displays, physical panels and the paperwork of staying operational. Cargo manifests matter. Factions enforce their own rules and local events change the conditions you trade in. Earnings go towards fuel, repairs and rent before you can afford better equipment. A warp-capable drive opens other systems, though a viable local operation can keep flying. You can work towards a career endpoint or continue trading. A bad decision can be recovered from. Repeated losses can cost you the vessel.
Trade under a rental agreement
Buy and sell cargo while covering fuel, repairs and recurring rent. A promising sale still has to pay for the trip.
Read the market
Use market movement and local intelligence to find opportunities. Check local quotes before buying or selling. Supply, demand and world events change what a route is worth.
Choose the route
Compare travel time with traffic and inspection pressure. Faction territory affects what you can carry and how closely it gets checked.
Keep a manifest
Declare cargo or risk a false account. Inspections and faction laws make smuggling a decision with consequences.
Find work on Comms
Take contracts and local jobs, pursue Charter objectives or investigate salvage. Read the terms before committing your cargo space.
Make the ship earn its upgrades
Install better equipment and gain warp capability to reach other systems. Expansion offers more options without making a local career invalid.

Trailer text and sound description
The trailer cuts between flight, trade screens and an inspection. Corporate notices interrupt the gameplay. An electronic pulse runs underneath with distorted stings at the cuts. There is no spoken dialogue.

Can I request access for coverage?
For a full-game review key, email contact@corvidfood.com with your outlet or channel and any deadline. The free Aetrocor Trial Vessel demo is also available on Steam.
What can I play in the demo?
Aetrocor Trial Vessel introduces the trading and life aboard a rented ship in around 40 minutes. You can keep playing after the introduction. It does not end on a timer.
Is travel between systems compulsory?
No. Warp capability gives you access to more markets and work, but a career can stay local. There is no required number of systems to visit.
Does a run have a fixed length?
No. Career endpoints are optional and you can keep trading. Repeated missed payments to Aetrocor can end a run.
