Void Profit Devlog #4-5-6-a lot: Accessibility, markets and presentation, many changes, a lot
A bunch of things, all probably important.
Added accessibility options.
You can now disable camera shake and flashing lights, and adjust text size across the entire UI.
Fixed market variety.
Markets were showing only a few repeated items. That’s been fixed, and trading now has a much bigger set of goods again. Different locations still feel different, but you’re no longer stuck waiting for something usable to show up.
Changed the icon set.
Icons are now mapped and normalized so they actually feel like part of the same UI. There’s more variety, but it’s consistent and readable instead of a mix of styles.
Updated docked scenes.
Replaced the old placeholder visuals with actual backgrounds. They’re layered with shadows, light, and a bit of subtle “life” so they feel more alive. Gone is the random straight-line SVG I had before.
Added lightweight tutorials.
They won’t explain ALL the systems but they should get you going.
Added autosave.
Autosave can be configured per run, and it uses the same save system without interfering with manual saves. Some options are available, one of which is a “Never” for the brave and confident.
Added game options.
New runs can now adjust things like market volatility, route risk, and rent pressure. Defaults match the current balance, but you can tweak how the game behaves from the start.
